BMG Equine Services offers a wealth of equine experience with an insight into the film industry. With a combined 72 years of horse experience, the Gouthro’s can provide knowledgeable implementation of equines into your production. Let us take the reins! Our services include: assistrance in casting horse and rider doubles, help locating set locations, provision of horses and equipment, use of our equine facility, equine transportation, on set horse handling, specialty training of equines for specific scenes, acting, double riding, helping to maintain safety during use of horses and presence during editing to ensure authenticity of horse scenes.

Matt and Beth Gouthro own and operate BMG Show Horses located in Staunton, Virginia which is in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Their training program has produced World Champion show horses. They both have been clinicians offering instruction in horsemanship, equitation, western pleasure, hunter under saddle and ranch horse. Both have experience as horse show judges. In addition, both Matt and Beth have worked on the set of a Feature Film. Beth took the lead role of Cassie Roberts in the Christian based horse movie, Texas Rein, providing insight to equine aspects of the film and performing her own stunts. Matt Gouthro has film credit as a head horse wrangler and double rider in a Feature Film.

Beth Gouthro played the lead role of Cassie Roberts in the Feature Film, Texas Rein. She was later nominated for Best Actress for the Film at the International Christian Film Festival. 

Matt Gouthro has film credits as Head Horse Wrangler.  He has also worked as a riding stunt double.
